“Find the Funny” workshop with Gina Ramsey

Local author/humorist Gina Ramsey knows how to “find the funny” when it comes to dealing with life’s everyday frustrations! Her Burnt Gloveboxes series combines the lessons of Murphy’s Law with the insight of Chicken Soup for the Soul, encouraging readers to appreciate the “normal” moments in their lives and embrace the funny in life’s quirky circumstances.
On September 20 from 1-3 p.m., she’ll host a FREE workshop for adults at the library where we’ll learn how to “find the funny” in life’s conundrums! She’ll review writing tools that can be used to create a compelling and funny written essay, and the humor pitfalls to avoid. You’ll have the chance to begin to craft your own stories! No registration is required.
