Visit our StoryWalk® at Billings Park!

Visit the library’s StoryWalk® in Billings Park and enjoy a story while spending time outdoors!

Our StoryWalk® follows the waterfront trail in Billings Park, giving families the opportunity to enjoy a story while walking the trail. Established in memory of two longtime Friends of the Library members, the StoryWalk® was launched in 2025 and was a joint project with the City of Superior’s Parks Department and the Friends of the Library.

How to get to the StoryWalk®:

From the playground at Billings Park:

  • Follow the path behind the playground and look for the sign that says “Stairway to StoryWalk®”
  • Take the stairs down to the waterfront trail.
  • The StoryWalk® begins near the boat launch.

From Tower Avenue:

  • From Tower Avenue, turn west onto North 21st Street (if you’re heading north on Tower, it’ll be a left turn; if you’re heading south on Tower, it’ll be a right turn).
  • Follow N 21st Street to the traffic circle intersection with Gitchinadji Drive.
  • At the traffic circle, look for the driveway down the hill to the boat launch.
  • Look for the “Pathway to StoryWalk®” sign!
  • The StoryWalk® begins just to the left of the dock and follows the waterfront trail.
