Page Turners Book Club | August 6 & 27

Join Superior Public Library’s Page Turners Book Club and enjoy lively discussion with other eager readers!

Our book selection for August is Disability Visibility: First Person Stories from the Twenty-First Century, a groundbreaking collection of first-person writing edited by Alice Wong that shares the joys and challenges of the modern disability experience. This collection of personal essays by contemporary disabled writers celebrates and documents disability culture and looks to the future and past with hope and love.

Book club meets on the first Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and the last Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. We discuss the same book at both of these meetings. Our August meeting dates are August 6 at 10:30 a.m. and August 27 at 6 p.m. (Book club does NOT meet in July or December.)

Request a copy of the book using the online library catalog, by calling 715-394-8860, or stopping in to the library.
