Calling all book lovers! Join our monthly book club and participate in lively discussions with other eager readers! Due to COVID-19 concerns, our book club meets virtually using a meeting platform called BlueJeans, and you can participate via computer, smartphone, or even dial in with a regular telephone!

For our September 30 meeting we’ll read Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson. This NY Times bestselling novel moves forward and backward in time, uncovering the role that history and community have played in the experiences, decisions, and relationships of two families, both connected by an unexpected pregnancy.

Copies of the book can be requested and picked up using our curbside service. Call the library at (715) 394-8860 to reserve a copy and schedule a curbside pickup.  A limited number of print copies are available, but the book may also be available as a downloadable ebook from Wisconsin’s Digital Library.

Read the book and join us September 30 at 6 p.m. for the virtual discussion. Find the link and instructions to connect to the meeting below.
