Steely Meyer is a fiber artist who creates gorgeous crocheted items for kids and adults. She also dabbles in machine knitting, weaving, and is (slowly) learning to spin yarn! Her specialty is items that are practical, like hats and kitchen scrubbies, with a fun and artsy twist! Her work is colorful, cozy and often incorporates recycled and repurposed yarns. She learned to crochet as a child from her grandmother, and when she was diagnosed with MS in 2009, she began working more extensively with yarn and selling her pieces. Her hobbies include obsessing over all types of yarn, nature, animals, music, and movies. You can find her work at local craft fairs, farmer’s markets, and flea markets, (look for her bright orange tent!) but you can also contact her via her Facebook page, Furkid Approved, or via email at email@example.com.
