Love Your Local Artist 2024

Register for Superior Public Library’s 14th annual Love Your Local Artist fundraiser! Our next Love Your Local Artist fundraiser will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Superior Public Library.

Each year we invite local photographers, painters, potters, fabric artists, woodworkers, jewelry artists and more to sign up for a space and sell their work at the library during this after-hours event.

This celebration is open to the public and includes live music, a raffle featuring artwork donated by participating artists, wine and refreshments, and a variety of local artists offering their work for sale. All funds raised from the raffle and sign-up fees are used to support the library’s many programs and services throughout the year.

The registration fee will once again be $30 (payable by cash or check made out to the Friends of Superior Public Library).

  • The fee includes a table (sizes vary), but if you prefer to provide your own table, you may do so if you wish. The price for the space is the same ($30) if you provide your own table.
    • Tables are limited! Register early so you can get your preferred table size!
  • Due to space constraints, the maximum table size we can accommodate in each artist space is 8 feet long by 3 feet wide.
  • If you’d rather donate an item for the raffle instead of paying the registration fee, you are encouraged to do so, provided the retail value of the item is at least $30.

Raffle items and registration fees can be dropped off at Superior Public Library. If you’re donating an item for the raffle, we must receive the item at the library by Friday, January 5, 2024 in order to include it in the raffle. If you’re dropping off an item for the raffle, please include a note with your name when you drop off your item at the library.

This event brings together the entire community: library-lovers, artists, art-lovers, and more — and it’s a lovely way to spend a winter evening!
