DESCRIPTION:Superior Public Library invites YOU to join our Summer Reading Program! \nStarting June 1\, track your reading and start earning prizes! \nKids and teens will earn a prize bag\, free book\, AND prize drawing entry for 450 minutes of reading! Grand prizes include a Jellycat stuffed animal\, a Squishmallows mystery pack\, a 3D printing pen\, a pickleball set\, and various Lego sets. \nThe more you read\, the more prize entries you’ll receive! For each summer challenge you complete\, or for every 15 additional minutes you read\, you’ll get an extra entry into the prize drawing! \nFor adults\, read 5 books by August 31 and you’ll be entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win a $50 gift card from Foxes and Fireflies Booksellers! DESCRIPTION:Join the Superior Public Library and Wisconsin Public Radio for an all-new episode of PBS Wisconsin’s lecture series\, University Place\, featuring Dr. Katrina Phillips!\n\nConnected live virtually to PBS Wisconsin’s Studio A in Madison\, event attendees at the Superior Public Library will watch the lecture virtually in real time and have the opportunity to participate live in the post-talk Q & A.\n\nNorthern Wisconsin’s rich forests and plentiful lakes have been a marker of pride for decades. They have served as the foundation of Ojibwe livelihoods\, as the backbone of industry\, and as a key piece of the state’s conservation movement.
