The Hidden Costs of Aging: free financial seminar
Mar. 27, Wednesday @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us March 25 at 5 p.m. for a FREE financial seminar led by financial advisors Robyn Lings and Bill Dean that will explore “The Hidden Costs of Aging” and the the important conversations you need to have about care and housing expenses.
A financially secure retirement is the result of years of planning, work and savings. Most people are so focused on reaching retirement that they aren’t fully prepared for the challenges of managing their finances during retirement. Are you prepared for the unexpected? “The Hidden Costs of Aging” is a program that was developed in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Center for Innovative Care in Aging and is designed to help you recognize:
• Retirement realities and trends that impact housing decisions in retirement
• Care and housing options
• Family, lifestyle, and health care considerations in housing decisions
• How to formulate a plan with a financial professional and your family
Participate in this free program in person at the library (refreshments will be served) or join virtually from the comfort of your own home. Registration is appreciated, but not required. Please call 715-394-8871 or email mehlel@superiorlibrary.org to reserve your spot, or to receive the link to join the seminar virtually.
