Memory Café
Apr. 24, Wednesday @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
If you’re a person experiencing memory changes, or a caregiver to someone with dementia, it can be helpful to connect with other people going through similar experiences. Superior Public Library, in partnership with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Douglas County, hosts a monthly Memory Café on the last Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. where people with dementia and their caregivers can socialize with other people in similar circumstances while doing a fun activity and enjoying refreshments, coffee, and conversation. At our April 24 Memory Café we’ll enjoy a wild presentation by Sarah Glesner from Sacred Serpents! She’ll talk about her experiences working with live animals and introduce you to several of them! You won’t want to miss this! No diagnosis or registration is required to participate in the Memory Café.
