On February 10, 1945, Dick Bong and Marge Vattendahl were married at Concordia Lutheran Church in Superior. At our next Memory Café on January 29 at 10:30 a.m., enjoy a free presentation by local historian Teddie Meronek all about their courtship and marriage, with a healthy dose of World War II history, too!

Memory Cafes are a partnership between the library and the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Douglas County, and are intended for people experiencing memory loss and their caregivers to enjoy positive social interaction in a safe environment.
